Work on the KS2 Building

Dear Parents and Carers,

The contractors have now been instructed by the Archdiocese of Liverpool, to begin the project of reinstating the KS2 department. The information we have, is that the initial stage of this process will begin this week.  The contractors will be establishing a temporary road across the school driveway and removing some of the KS2 playground fencing to enable larger vehicles to access the site.  The working site is completely fenced off and there is no access to it for any members of the school. The KS2 playground is completely out of action for the forseeable future and we have scheduled playtimes using the remaning playgrounds we luckily have available. The contractors have been instructed NOT to use the main school driveway at pick up and drop off times of 8.45am and 3.15pm.

Nursery middaydrop off and collection:

For this reason however, for the safety of everyone,we have made a change to Nursery pick up and drop off routines that take place around the middle of the day.  Parents of children who are collected from Nursery between 11.45am and 12.15pm must now enter and leave the school site via the pedestrian path only, not the school driveway (please do not walk down the school driveway at this time).  As you are aware no parents should be driving up the school driveway during school hours, however it is of particular importance for health and safety that this does not happen from tomorrow morning. Please approach the Nursery department via the pedestrian pathway and do not walk up the main driveway at midday. Thank you.

We thank you in advance for your continued support.
