We had a fantastic week investigating bubbles. We explored different soaps and how we could make bubbles. We then carried out an experiment to find out which types of soap made the most bubbles. Here are some pictures of us having fun with science...

This week we have enjoyed exploring our playground to find habitats for minibeasts. We found lots of insects hiding in the shade under rocks.

We also had a visit from the people at CAFOD. We learned all about the ways that we can help people that are less fortunate than us and we said a prayer for them.

We are also very excited for sports day next week!! The children will bring home a sticker to show the team that they are in and the colour they need to wear.

Welcome back after the half term break! It is fantastic to see all of the children back happy and safe. We have had lots of fun sharing our stories of what we have been getting up to over the holidays.

Ths week we have been reading the story of "John Patrick Norman McHennesy- the boy who was always late" by John Burningham. The children have enjoyed thinking of their own unusual reasons as to why they might be late for school. The children's writing this week has been fantastic! We have also started our new science topic of "Living things and their habitats". The children have enjoyed compairing habitats and creating their own home for a snail.

We wish the children a lovely half term break. Afterr all of their hard work they certainly deserve it! Well done Year 2!
