EYFS Homework Expectations

Each week your child will bring home:

Reading for pleasure – a story to share

Sound cards of sounds learnt in school to practise at home.

Letter formation sheets of the sounds learnt that week.

Once your child starts Word Time in Read Write Inc, they will bring home a Blending book.

Once your child has reached the Ditty stage of Read Write Inc they will bring home a reading book.

On Dojo, your child’s teacher will set:

Read Write Inc Portal video – sounds and Word time

A link to a video or game linked to our Number of the Week

Topic homework – a talk based activity to support your child’s class based learning.
