Pastoral Support

Pastoral support plays a key role now more than ever during these unprecendted times. Our children have experienced something us as adults never expected in our lifetime. Here at St. Anne's offering support for our children can help them  to process and understand any changes they have had to deal with.

This page shares photographs and information about the current pastoral provision offered to our children. Miss Flaherty works with children either within a small group or on a 1-1 basis. The sessions may include:

- Relaxtion through meditation

- Understanding feelings

- How to regulate feelings

- Understanding changes in relationships

- Dealing with changes to families or circumstances

- Self worth

- Confidence

Any of the above intervention may be short term however, if there are children with more complex needs the support will be offered for a longer period of time.

Using differenet strategies helps children to really understand a certain feeling and how to managed it. Remember, how full is your emotion bucket? Our emotion bucket can often be at risk of tipping..
