Reading is one of the most important things you can do to help you child. Everyone should aim to read at home each day for 10-15 minutes. Please encourage your child to record what they have read in the home-school diary. Each Friday, the class is given the opportunity to complete a book review, for books they have finished that week. The total number of books each child has read goes onto our Rainbow Reading Reward Chart. For ideas of what to read, visit your local library, or check out the list of Year 5 recommended book.
