Welcome to Year 5b 2020- 2021
This year the class is being taught by Mrs.Porter, Mrs.Deakin and Miss Carroll. All portals are still online for Reading Plus, TT Rockstars, Spelling Shed and Purple Mash. If there are any concerns then place them on the dojo site. We will let you know when PE is going to be so that your child can come to school in their PE kit on those days.

Wow what a packed week we have had. We have completed a successful parents conference and the children have reviewed their own learning for this term. Pictures will be posted onto portfolios – well done to everyone this term.

Hello New Class of Y5,
You have made it to UKS2! How does it feel? We are really excited about seeing you in September and looking forward to all the great times we will have together!
This week, we would really like to get to know you and answer any questions you may have. There will be no maths and English set this week, instead we will be setting 3 "Get to Know You" challenges on Class Dojo each day. A copy of the challenges and all of the worksheets you need are at the bottom of this page. We will be posting some videos too, so that you can get to know us! We'd like as many of you as possible to post to your portfolios on Class Dojo (if you're still not sure how to do this, then please message us).
Only One You
In September, the whole school will be sharing the text "Only One You" by Linda Kraz. It is a fantastic book, full of wonderful advice for all ages! Watch the clip by following the link to hear the story.
